Rwanda the Land of a Thousand Hills is home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas. It is a landlocked country bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its geography is dominated by mountains in the West and savanna in the Southeast and the climate is subtropical with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons per year.

Rwanda is the most densely populated African country and it’s rated the fifth in the world with a current population of 14 million people.

The Kigali Genocide Memorial is a place of remembrance and learning dedicated to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

Volcanoes National Park is located in the North Western part of Rwanda approx. 2 hrs 30 minutes’ drive from Rwanda’s Capital City and the Kigali International Airport.

Akagera is located in the Eastern region of Rwanda about 110 km from Kigali the capital of Rwanda which is about a 2 hours 30 minutes’ drive.

Nyungwe Forest National Park is situated in southwestern Rwanda and is known for its exceptional biodiversity and its wide range of endemic species.
