
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Mgahinga National Park is located in the South-Western part of Uganda
and covers 33.7 square kilometres of land area which makes it Uganda’s smallest Park. Mgahinga forms part of the spectacular Virunga range that lies along the border region of Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo.
The Park is home to the endangered Mountain gorillas and golden Monkeys as well as elephants, giant forest hogs, buffalos, leopards, and over 180 bird species.
Activities include Gorilla trekking, Golden Monkey trekking, birding, and Batwa community experience.
